Description

The package includes: Lima City tour, Paracas, Nasca, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu.

Itinerary
Day 01.- Arrive To Lima
Pick up upon arrival and transfer to the Hotel, located in Miraflores, Lima. (no meals)

Day 02.- Lima City Tour & Pachacamac Ruins
In the morning Lima city tour, you will be picked up from your hotel at 09 AM. We will visit the colonial area and to the Plaza de Armas where you will see the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the City Hall as well as the XVII century church and cloister of San Francisco, a world cultural heritage. Then we will visit the modern downtown with a view of the Pacific Ocean and the modern residential suburb of San Isidro. We will visit a place that is near Lima, there is an archaeological enclosure whose constructions conserve the mysticism and religiosity of their past. Its name: Pachacamac. When traveling this sanctuary, where hundred of years ago the natives surrendered cult to the sun and to the Earth, one can feel the magic attraction of a place that will always be sacred. Finally transfer to the hotel. Overnight. (B,L)

Day 03.- Lima - Paracas
You will be picked up from your hotel in Lima AT 5:00AM, transfer to the bus station, you'll take a bus to Pisco ( 3 hours ). Then transfer to the mole of "El Chaco" where you'll take a motorboat excursion to the Ballasts Island. Lunch at a typical restaurant (not included), in the afternoon excursion to Paracas of about 4 hours. Paracas is one of the best marine reserves, with the highest concentration of marine birds. At 5:00 pm. departure to NASCA in bus (the best one), arrive and stay at a Hotel (B)

Day 04.- Ballestas Islands
Early morning At 7:30 transfer to the dock where you will take a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas island. It is acknowledged like “Galapagos of Peru” the Ballestas Island has a spectacular habitat of many different species of seabirds, sea lions and any other else , as well during the return to Nazca we will visit the Chauchilla cemetery, where we can appreciate mummies, pottery fragments over the desert. Overnight. (B)

Day 05.- Nasca Lines
You will be picked up from your hotel, transfer to the little airport where you'll take the flight over the famous Nazca lines. Cut into the stony desert are large number of lines, not only parallels and geometrical figures, but also designs such as a dog, an enormous monkey, a spider and a tree. The lines, that represent some sort of vast astronomical pre-Inca calendar, are best seen from the air, we will take a half hour flight above the Lines (included). At 1:30 pm you will take the motor coach Royal class to Lima where you will arrive around 7:30 pm. Upon arrival transfer to the Hotel. Overnight. (B)

Day 06.- Cusco
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take flight to Cusco (ticket included). Upon arrival reception and transfer to the hotel, rest of the morning at leisure to allow your body acclimatize to the altitude, some people suffer headaches but we also have pills against the altitude. Overnight. (B)

Day 07.- Cusco City Tour
You will be picked up from your Hotel at 1:00 pm for Cusco city tour. This tour includes the major sites of historical interest in Cuzco, such as the famous Inca fort at Sacsayhuaman, and the Temple of the Sun. Also included in this is a tourist card, giving you access to all the sites in the Cuzco area as a whole (i.e., including outside of the City itself) this tour finishes at 18:30. aprox. Overnight. (B)

Day 08.- Cusco - Sacred Valley Tour
This tour is available on Tuesdays , Thursdays or Sundays only . Breakfast . You will be picked up at 8:45 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the village of Pisac, a colonial aspect and its lndian market. Lunch included . In the afternoon you'll visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architectural group that in the days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex, then the Chinchero market. At the end, return to Cusco at 6:30pm . Overnight. (B,L)

Day 09.- Cusco - Machu Picchu
All day excursion by alpine train to Machu Picchu. At 5:30 am you will be taken from the Hotel to the train station, the train leaves at 6:00 am. Travel is in "Vistadome" Class (formerly "Autowagon"). At 9:40 a.m., you will arrive at the Aguas Calientes Station, from where you take a 25 minute bus ride to the ruins of Machu Picchu. When you get there, you will have a guided tour, with an English speaking professional guide. The ruins are on the eastern slope of Machu Picchu in two separate areas: the agricultural and the urban. Lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge (included). Overnight at the hotel. (B,L)

Day 10.- Machu Picchu – Cusco
Morning at leisure to explore the area by your own (entrance fee and transportation not included). In the afternoon you will take the train to Cuzco. Upon arrival in Cuzco, transfer to the hotel. Overnight. (B)

Day 11.- Cusco – Lima
In the morning, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima (airfare included), in time to get your international flight connection. (B)
