Rock Climbing Course
Description
Rock climbing near Sacsayhuaman above Cusco. We will learn techniques of rock climbing, and rappel and ascend walls of different difficulties. Although it is very safe, the vertigo and adrenaline rush may be intense. You do not need any experience for this trip.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco - Chacan - Cusco
At 9:00 in the morning we go by private van from Cusco up to the rock wall at Chacán, located behind Sacsayhuaman, some ten minutes from central Cusco.
We walk to the wall itself, where the guide explains and demonstrates the equipment and safety techniques. We practice rappelling down the wall, an ascent of 25m.Then we rappel a 40m wall.
Included :
- Professional of rock climbing and mountaineering guide who speaks English and Spanish
- Private transport to and from the wall
- Complete rock climbing equipment (Harness, ropes, figure 8, carabiners, helmet, free climbing shoes)
- Box lunch
- Optional: We can take a video or photos of your ascent
We recommended to bring :
- Comfortable clothes, shorts, hat, sunglasses & sun block
- A bottle of waters
