Itinerary
Day 01: Cusco - Santa Maria
Our private van will take our passengers from their hotels and we will begin to drive, passing the Sacred Valley and climbing until the Malaga High Pass (4,500 masl or 1,4850 Ft). Once there, our guide will give a safety chat, and then we will start to ride down into the jungle on our Mountain Bikes. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Santa Maria, a jungle village (1,500 masl. or 4,950 Ft.), Camp Site.
Day 02: Santa Maria - Santa Teresa
This day, we will begin early in the morning, climbing up the jungle mountains (although not a high altitude). Today we will see some really awesome landscapes, meet local people, and find different kinds of plants and animals. In the afternoon, we will arrive to Santa Teresa, Campsite.
Day 03: Santa Teresa - Machupicchu
From Santa Teresa (at 1,900 masl, or 6,270 ft) we will walk for between 4 to 6 hours. The last part of the way we will be walking on a Train Rail until we arrive in Aguas Calientes Village in the afternoon. Hotel.
Day 04: Machupicchu - Cusco
This day, early in the morning, we will begin to walk to Machupicchu archaeological site. Once there, we will visit the site with our professional guide. In the afternoon, we will return to Aguas Calientes to take our train back to Cusco, arriving there at 8 pm approximately.
