Jungle Trip Manu - 3D/2N
Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco - Paucartambo
At 8:00 Am we will pick up our passengers from their hotels, and begin our trip in our private bus to Pisac and the pass (at 4,800 masl or 15,840 Ft.). From the pass we will continue on mountain bike until Paucartambo (it is a nice long downhill). Once there we will set up our camp site.
Day 2: Paucartambo - San Pedro
After breakfast we will go by private bus until the Ajanaco high pass (at 3,500m. or 11,550 ft.). From there, we will continue again on our bikes. The road is downhill till we stop in San Pedro, where we can see the Cock of the Rock (Rupícola Peruviana: the National bird of Peru). Campsite.
Day 3: Paucartambo - Pillcopata - Atalaya
In the morning, we will continue on mountain bike until Pilcopata. Once we arrive there, we will prepare all our rafting equipment. After we receive some safety instructions and get dressed in our rafting gear (life jacket and helmet), we will run the river until we reach Atalaya. From there, we can continue to the Reserve zone of the Manu Park, or go back to Cusco.
